H19 and hepatocellular carcinoma: Regarding this, the current study found that, at a cutoff value of 10.2 and an AUC of 0.78, lncRNA-H19 expression levels showed moderate sensitivity and specificity for differentiating between tumorous and non-tumorous liver tissue samples (76 and 74 percent, respectively), which was consistent with Fawzy et al. [46], who reported that tissue lncRNA-H19 could distinguish between HCC and chronic liver disease with sensitivity and specificity of (56 percent and 90 percent, respectively) at cut off 19.6 and AUC 0.75.
