It is plausible that CD34+ cells could be a treatment option for patients with few options, such as those with coronary endothelial dysfunction and microvascular disease. However, more research is required to fully understand the potential role of CD34+ cells in treating symptomatic patients with non-obstructive coronary artery disease, microvascular disease, and endothelial dysfunction. This evidence concerns the gene CD34 and endothelial dysfunction.
