Li et al. found that WT1 was significantly upregulated in STAD by qRT-PCR. In addition, the overexpression of BASP1 in cell experiments of STAD could apparently inhibit the activation of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway to restrain the proliferation, migration, and invasion of STAD cells by downregulating the expression of WT1. Here, WT1 is linked to gastric adenocarcinoma.
