In line with these results, we also used an shRNA to target the Alkbh5 gene in CRS mice (Fig. S8a), which showed the suppression of FMRP and activation of the mTOR pathway (Fig. S8b, c), in association with anxiolysis after demethylase gene knockdown (Fig. S8d–h). Here, FMR1 is linked to congenital rubella syndrome.
