TLR4 and viral infectious disease: The suppression of DENV2 viral infection in terms of both median intensity and prevalence indicates that CRISPRa-mediated transactivation of AaRel1 in the midgut augmented the activity of the Toll pathway’s antiviral action in this tissue, consistent with previously-published work [43] concluding that Toll immune signaling pathway plays a significant role in regulating resistance to dengue virus in the mosquito midguts [43].
