We found that the expression levels of DLAT, NLRP3, MTF1, DLST, NFE2L2, FDX1, and SLC31A1 were higher in patients with PCOS than in healthy controls, whereas the gene expression levels of ATP7A, CDKN2A, DBT, PDHA1, ATP7B, DLD, LIPT1, and PDHB were lower in patients with PCOS than in healthy controls (Fig. 2A–C). The gene discussed is PDHB; the disease is polycystic ovary syndrome.
