We compared the results obtained in this study with previous results from Tran Ngoc Dung (2000) [18], who studied class-I and -II HLA alleles in 47 nasopharyngeal cancer patients from northern Vietnam using cytotoxicity based on Terasaki’s technique and indirect immunofluorescence and showed that there were 11 types of HLA-A alleles with high frequencies, including -A*02 (30%), -A*11 (20%), -A*25 (17%), and -A*24 (9.4%) [18]. Here, HLA-A is linked to nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
