A study in northern China on the association between HLA alleles in 132 nasopharyngeal cancer patients found 11 types of HLA-A alleles; those with the highest frequencies were -A*02 (62.1%), -A*24 (42.4%), -A*11 (27.3%), and -A*33 (16.7%) (Wang and Wang, 2014) [12]. This evidence concerns the gene HLA-A and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
