Although the role of EBUS-TBNA for the diagnosis of hilar/mediastinal lymphadenopathies is well established, as it represents an important investigation for tissue acquisition in patients with lung cancer and for LN staging, only few studies have examined its diagnostic accuracy in PD-L1 expression assessment in NSCLC, and, to our knowledge, this is the first study that has specifically evaluated slow-pull capillary aspiration. This evidence concerns the gene CD274 and lung cancer.
