The expression of genes associated with cardiac pathology (Col1a1, Myh7, and Nppa) was elevated in all groups except the NonTg ChN mice, illustrating that Ch‐ was sufficient to induce cardiac hypertrophy in NonTg mice, and further exacerbate cardiac hypertrophy in 3xTg‐AD mice, collectively highlighting that Ch‐ may increase the risk for cardiac dysfunction. This evidence concerns the gene NPPA and cardiac hypertrophy.
