Of specific interest, one patient developed hypothyroidism associated with surprisingly high stimulating TRAb levels (> 40 U/L; reference range (rr) < 0.1), as well as anti-Tg antibodies (> 4000 U/ml; rr < 115), while anti-TPO antibodies were borderline positive (35.8 U/ml; rr < 34). The gene discussed is TG; the disease is hypothyroidism.
