To understand the biological roles of SLC7A2, we generated SLC7A2-silenced A549-shRNA-SLC7A2 and H460-shRNA-SLC7A2 cells and found that SLC7A2 silencing promoted the proliferation of NSCLC cells, suggesting SLC7A2 may be a tumor suppressor in NSCLC. This evidence concerns the gene SLC7A2 and neoplasm.
