After adding biomarkers into traditional clinical model, which includes age, sex, BMI, smoking, hypertension, diabetes, atrial fibrillation and eGFR, GAS6 levels were also significantly associated with all-cause death (HR, 1.44; 95% CI (1.22,1.70); P < 0.001) and cardiovascular death (HR, 1.44; 95% CI (1.17,1.79); P < 0.001). The gene discussed is GAS6; the disease is hypertensive disorder.
