We examined the expression of Flot2 in normal renal tissues from subjects with renal carcinoma (n=3) and human glomerular diseases by immunofluorescence staining of renal biopsy samples from patients with proteinuric glomerular diseases, including minimal change disease (MCD, n=6), focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS, n=7), IgA nephropathy (IgAN, n=4), membranous nephropathy (MN, n=8), and diabetic nephropathy (DN, n=5). This evidence concerns the gene FLOT2 and lipoid nephrosis.
