Using one-stage meta-analysis on patient survival data from these datasets, we found high FAM3C mRNA expression (stratified at 239 for both high and low median) to be correlated with poorer prognosis (marginal HR = 1.40; 95% CI: 1.04-1.89; p = 0.028) (Figure 1C), thereby suggesting its pertinence in NSCLC. This evidence concerns the gene FAM3C and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
