Multiple studies have confirmed that there are noticeable family genetic characteristics in the tumorigenesis of malignant tumors, such as ovarian cancers (BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations) (Heemskerk-Gerritsen et al., 2022), Li-Fraumeni syndrome (TP53 mutation) (Rocca et al., 2022) and hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer (DNA mismatch repair deficient) (Liotta et al., 2021). This evidence concerns the gene BRCA2 and hereditary nonpolyposis colon cancer.
