A number of preclinical and human clinical studies are currently underway to evaluate the anti-cancer activity of K-Ras(G12C) inhibitor in combination with other chemotherapeutic drugs4–6; however, the development of drugs against K-Ras(G12D) in colorectal and pancreatic cancers, which are known as intractable cancers, have not been as successful7. Here, KRAS is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
