Although SIRPα is conservatively expressed on myeloid cells rather than lymphoid cells, our CyTOF data for tumor-infiltrating immune cells exhibited a detectable PD1 loss in T cell subsets (Supplemental Figure 1F) as well as increasing amounts of B cells (Figure 1D) after CD47/SIRPα axis blockage, which demonstrates TIMs as restrictive factors in bridging of innate and adaptive immunity.
