Thus, our results indicate that high cytoplasmic EHD2 expression, a localization similar to that observed in normal mouse mammary epithelium and human BC cell lines, is a marker of more aggressive BC, contrary to published reports that did not assess the cytoplasmic/nuclear distribution of EHD2 and suggested its potential tumor suppressor role (Yang et al., 2015; Shen et al., 2020; Shi et al., 2015).
