More recently, Taniguchi et al., 2012 demonstrated that EZH2 directly targets the Kruppel-like factor 2 (KLF2), which is a tumor suppressor, and interrupts its functions in cell cycle arrest and apoptosis, leading to tumorigenesis in the osteosarcoma mouse model (Taniguchi et al., 2012). This evidence concerns the gene EZH2 and osteosarcoma.
