TRIM31 was markedly upregulated in hepatocellular carcinoma, gallbladder cancer, colorectal cancer, high-grade glioma, pancreatic cancer and acute myeloid leukemia, and the high expression of TRIM31 was also associated with an aggressive phenotype, advanced disease status and poor prognosis (24–29). Here, TRIM31 is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
