In this case, the patient had clinical features of hyperthyroidism and acromegaly, thyroid autoantibodies showed negative findings, pituitary MRI showed positive findings, THRβ gene detection showed negative findings, and GH, IGF-1, TH, and TSH levels were significantly reduced after multiple uses of long-acting somatostatin analogs prior to surgery. The gene discussed is GH1; the disease is acromegaly.
