This study of the impact of the partial volume effect in tomographic imaging was borne out of a desire to measure the radiation dose delivered to malignant cancer tissues treated with peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) using LUTATE or [67Cu]SARTATE (14) imaging with quantitative SPECT (15) in subjects with neuroendocrine tumours that overexpress somatostatin (SSTR2) receptors. This evidence concerns the gene SST and neuroendocrine neoplasm.
