HAVCR2 and gastric cancer: Liu et al. (2018) found that high expression of HAVCR2 in hepatocellular carcinoma indicates poor prognosis, and HAVCR2 could also enhance Treg-mediated immunosuppression by mediating effector T-cell depletion and apoptosis. Cheng et al. (2015) also found that HAVCR2 can be used as an independent prognostic factor to predict the prognosis of gastric cancer patients in gastric cancer.
