CRP and infection: These patients showed lower rates of inflammation without infection, lower platelet count and fibrinogen, higher triglycerides, INR, aPTT, AST, ALT, bilirubin, yGT, AP, CRP, PCT, lactate, LDH, and maximum core body temperature, a higher rate of hemodialysis, higher SOFA scores, a lower ICU and inpatient duration, and a higher mortality rate (Table 1).
