Cardiac BIN1 + 13 + 17 (cBIN1) isoform levels in blood plasma are proportional to the levels of expression in cardiomyocytes [14] and the cBIN1 score (CS) is inversely proportional to blood plasma BIN1 + 13 + 17 content, suggesting it may serve as a new biomarker for early detection of HF [21,22].
