DYSF and atherosclerosis: The network of upstream regulators and genes (ITFA3, MSR1, SDC2, IGFBP3, CD209, TGFB2, DYSF, FCGR2A, SPP1, CD36, FN1, and PLIN2) play a significant role in atherosclerosis by controlling the binding of epithelial cells, cell spreading, adhesion of immune cells, homing of cells and fatty acid metabolism (Figure 6).
