The other study shows that concurrent expression of HP-NAP in oncolytic vaccinia virus enhanced its anti-tumor efficacy in mice with neuroblastoma as indicated by an increase in the survival rate and a reduction of the tumor size in mice with administration of the vaccinia virus co-expressing HP-NAP and the mimotope of GD2, a tumor-associated antigen (TAA) for neuroblastoma [66]. The gene discussed is HP; the disease is neuroblastoma.
