A few pioneer studies have exemplified fusion-circRNAs (f-circRNAs) derived from tumor-associated chromosomal translocations, such as PML-RARα, MLL-AF9, EWSR1/F LI1, and EML4/ALK1 [20,35,36], and these f-circRNAs were circularized by transcribed exons of distinct genes affected by the translocations. The gene discussed is KMT2A; the disease is neoplasm.
