These results are consistent with the study of Sodhi et al. [36], who found that 2′-FL docked into the binding pocket of the complex of TLR4-myeloid differentiation factor 2 (MD2) complex to inhibit TLR4 signaling, which consequently alleviated necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) in a mice model. This evidence concerns the gene TLR4 and necrotizing enterocolitis.
