The detection of (CK+/JUNB+/CXCR4+) CTCs in NSCLC patients was associated with poorer PFS (Kaplan–Meier, Log Rank, p = 0.007, HR = 5.21; Figure 3c) compared to patients without this phenotype (0.8 months with range 0–1.8 vs. 7.7 months with range 4.9–10.4). Here, CXCR4 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
