Beyond TET2 and DNMT3A, mutations or amplification of genes codifying for other epigenetic enzymes, such as the histone demethylases KDM5A and 6A [94], are frequently observed in cancer and may be assessed for their synthetic lethality with PARPi to identify new patients cohorts eligible for PARPi targeted therapy. The gene discussed is DNMT3A; the disease is cancer.
