We found the group with high GAP-43 (concentration ≥ 4350.7 pg/mL) progressed to dementia more rapidly compared with the group with lower values (concentration < 4350.7 pg/mL) (HR: 2.079, 95% CI: 1.340−3.226, p  =  0.001; Figure 4). Here, GAP43 is linked to dementia.
