Microscopic examination of tumor morphology showed that MFSD4A-AS1-overexpressing tumor tissues displayed more potent capabilities to penetrate into the surrounding muscle tissues; conversely, silencing MFSD4A-AS1 drastically inhibited the local invasive capability of tumors (Fig. 3G and H), suggesting the stimulatory effect of MFSD4A-AS1 on the invasive ability of PTC cells in vivo.
