ERBB2 and pulmonary fibrosis: Since both cancer and fibrosis have been reported to be closely associated with chronic inflammation (Katoh, 2018), we hypothesized that the active components stigmasterol, quercetin, and beta-sitosterol of Reduning may inhibit p-ERBB2/HER2-MAPK to block the progression of sepsis-induced pulmonary fibrosis.
