In summary, our results showed overlapping effects of the novel TKI asciminib and ATP-pocket binding TKIs on T cell function (e.g., proliferation inhibition) and also some differences like a reduced inhibition of early T cell activation and IL-2-secretion by asciminib, which might be beneficial for the T cells’ anti-CML properties. The gene discussed is IL2; the disease is chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive.
