CD19 and glioblastoma: One promising strategy against GBM is chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell therapy, which is effective against hematological malignancies.6 CAR-T cells targeting CD19 have generated unprecedented response rates in treating refractory B cell malignancies and became the first US Food and Drug Administration-approved cell-based therapy.7–9 Among solid cancers, GBM is a good candidate for CAR-T cell therapy.
