HIF1A and myocardial infarction: In summary, our results indicate that the AEBA exerts cardioprotective effects through promoting systolic and diastolic function of the cardiac, reducing the leakage of cardiac injury enzymes, inhibiting the infiltration of inflammatory cells, and suppressing the collagen deposition in ISO-induced MI rats, and these beneficial effects might be related to the capacity of aconite in antioxidative stress, anti-inflammation, and antihypoxia via the HIF1-α and MAPK signaling pathways.
