To also study the signalling pathways potentially involved in CAN activity, we performed WB experiments (figure 6) on total cell lysates from control (C) and AZ-treated (A) embryos, collected at 1, 3, 6 and 24 h after AZ addition, and probed with antibodies against the phosphorylated forms of p38 (p-p38) and ERK (p-ERK), and the non-phosphorylated form of c-jun (figure 6).
