WNT3 and colorectal carcinoma: Three novel findings are established: First, higher (P)RR expression in progressive CRC enhances migrating and invading abilities of CRC cells, which should be partially owing to the increased Wnt signaling activity; Second, (P)RR in CRC inhibits the NEDD4L-mediated Wnt3 ubiquitination, thus protects Wnt3 protein from degradation; Third, (P)RR modulates gut microbiota, especially, (P)RR decreases the abundances of Lachnospiraceae_NK4A136 and Bacteroides genus which are considered as protective bacteria against CRC progression.
