EGFR and gastric cancer: This provided information on N-glycans during the development of breast cancer.180 It has also been reported that fucosylated N-/O-linked glycans in salivary proteins exhibited significantly differential expression levels in gastric cancer, facilitating the discovery of biomarkers for gastric cancer diagnosis.181 Zanotti et al. have observed that concentrations of saliva EGFR, a type of glycoprotein, were higher in oral cancer, leading to worse prognosis as well.182
