Considering a cutoff point of 50% to demarcate presence or absence of SGLT2 expression level, patient 1 had greater than 50% SGLT2 expression and showed tumor destruction after anti-PD1 therapy (Figure 8E, left), while patient 2, with hepatic metastasis from lung cancer and less than 50% SGLT2 expression, showed tumor growth after treatment (Figure 8E, right). The gene discussed is SLC5A2; the disease is lung cancer.
