Based on the TIMER database (Figure 2A), IFITM1 was found to be significantly upregulated in various tumors, including breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), kidney chromophobe (KIRC), lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), and uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC). This evidence concerns the gene IFITM1 and chromophobe renal cell carcinoma.
