In lung cancer, it showed the downregulation of other cellular cytoskeleton proteins including beta-1, vimentin, talin 1, cadherin 2 or N-cadherin, IQ motif containing GTPase activating protein1, and junctional adhesion molecule A (JAMA or F11R or JAM1) resulting in remodeling of cytoskeletons that causes interruption of cell–cell junctions (Deng et al., 2021). Here, TLN1 is linked to lung cancer.
