This study showed that in cervical cancer, CMTM6 is associated with macrophages and CD4+ cells, and that CMTM6 cells may induce the differentiation of macrophages to M2 type and promote Th2 type immune response, thereby leading to the pro-malignant effect of CMTM6 in cervical cancer. The gene discussed is CMTM6; the disease is cervical carcinoma.
