ALB and Hypoalbuminemia: Overall, 65% of the patients had hypoalbuminemia (serum albumin level <3.5 g/dL), and 35% of patients had normal serum albumin levels (>3.5 g/dL to 5.5 g/dL). Similar results were noted in the study by Sharath Kumar et al. [13], in which 63.1% of the patients had hypoalbuminemia and 36.9% of the patients had normal albumin levels.
