CD8A and nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma: According to our results, compared with the low-risk group, patients in the high-risk group with elevated immune checkpoint-related gene expression and CD8+ T cell infiltration were less sensitive to ICB therapy, which is consistent with previous results that both the CD8+ T cells infiltration and PD-1 expression [42, 46] cannot define ccRCC prognosis and guide ccRCC therapies, our prognostic signature would help fill this blank.
