We analyzed 4 groups of patients with normal ECGs, isolated non-specific T-wave abnormalities, isolated non-specific ST-segment abnormalities, and NSSTTAs, respectively, and found that no significant differences existed in age, sex, BMI, premorbid diabetes, hypertension, eGFR, total Kt/V, albumin, or lipids among the groups, with hemoglobin level being an exception. This evidence concerns the gene ALB and diabetes mellitus.
