We further determined plasma alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase which are measures of hepatic steatosis; the results indicated that plasma aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase were significantly higher in ob/ob mice than the normal mice, as were further elevated in the ob/ob mice treated with C22:1 and lowered by TDYA (Fig. 2, H and I). This evidence concerns the gene GPT and Hepatic steatosis.
