High expression of MFAP2 in CRC tissues was significantly associated with lymph node metastasis (N0, 52/95 vs. N1/2/3, 58/79; p = 0.011), distant metastasis (M0, 87/145 vs. M1, 23/29; p = 0.049), and advanced AJCC stage (stage 1/2, 49/92 vs. stage 3/4, 61/82, p = 0.004) (Table 1). This evidence concerns the gene MFAP2 and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
