P2RX5 and breast cancer: The results of the KEGG pathway analysis reveal that neuroactive ligand–receptor interaction emerged as the most drastically enriched pathway and was linked to three upregulated proteins in DCA-treated BC cells, namely, nicotinic acetylcholine receptor alpha-9, P2X purinoceptor 5, and partitioning defective protein 3 (Figure 7E, Table 3).
